antsRlife camponotus consobrinus

hay people of ac this is my first journal so hope it goes well. i currently have 4 camponotus queens, they are doing well but i would like help on keeping them and housing them, thx.
Queens only:
Myrmecia Pilosula (6 larvae, 1 pupae)

Early Stage Nests:
x1 Anonychromyrma (15-20 workers)

I'll start with one, how long dose it usually take to have the first batch of eggs?

They start to lay eggs at up to 2 weeks after being caught. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hey, post some photos of your queens! I'd love to see them.

sure they are doing great settling in, i only have one test tube the others are in small containers with water cotton, i have one photo of the test tubed queen which i will post after school, i don't wont to disturb them till Sunday so stay tuned for more camponotus consobrinus ant info. next week we should start seeing some eggs. :D :D

yea i saw it a few days ago, and ill be checking the ants in a couple of hours so stay tuned. i am also thinking of getting a ants Australia ytong size 1 founding nest for one or two of them.

hey people of ac, as you may have saw i found my old heating mat, i put the test tubed queens in a plastic tub with the heating mat under it. the tub is around 25 degrees, is that a ok temp?
