Let me know if the link works.

Could be Camponotus novaeboracensis or C. herculeanus. It will be difficult to tell without workers.

Well she has three workers now and more on the way. I will get some pics after she moves to her new set up. Her current one isn't looking to great. The cotton on the water is getting some spots. But she has options now🤗.

I put three cricket leg pieces in before I went to bed and they were gone this morning. I just put a couple of chunks of mealworms small before I went to work in the test tube portal.

On the test portal I put a test tube of sugar water. So you think that is overkill?

The queen has already ventured out into the test tube portal center area, so I think that is a good sign that she is ready to move. Will see.

You don't need to be feeding her at all if she doesn't have workers. Her venturing out could mean she is stressed, probably because you were feeding her all that food. Plug up the hole where the test tube connects with the portal, with cotton.

Test tubes with sugar water will go foul. They should be given fresh sugary liquid at feeding.
