Lasius latipes, she is a parasitic species.

It means she needs “host” worker ant to start a colony. That is a really cool queen though. Never seen any ants have legs like that, but I have seen a few bees.

You can introduce workers and brood for best results. I recommend finding a Lasius colony somewhere and getting 10-20 workers, then, introduce them one at a time to your queen. She should kill the first one or two(to gain nest scent), but then she should start accepting them. In the wild she goes and finds a decently sized colony and assassinates the queen

No, it must be either Lasius americanus, Lasius crypticus, Lasius interjectus (also a parasitic species) or Lasius neoniger.
