Small colonies don't need very much food. Also, small colonies sometimes like their setup more enclosed and secure, as they often feel insecure and vulnerable.Zeroten wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 3:11 amRecently, I moved one of my lasius ant colonies into a terrarium with sand and rocks. It also has a ytong nest below the soil, I didn't give them access to it yet, because their colony isn't big enough yet. So, they remained in the test tube covered with aluminium foil. Overnight they closed the only entrance to the test tube with sand and they're not coming out. I can't feed them like this. How to get them to forage the outworld for food?
Thanks for helping
