I was at work this afternoon and a man came in for information. I noticed a queen on his shoulder and told him. I took it off him and did a test tube settup and put her in. I think she's a lasius Niger.
I went outside after work and caught some more queens as there were a lot on the ground without wings.

They were collected in Hertfordshire England I took my neighbours dog for a walk this evening and there were still lots of queens on the paths near my house. I hadn't got many containers or I would have got some and joined the GAN project.
