First one is Eciton burchellii army ant, the second is formica fusca group probably neongangates or pacifica

Lol I forgot the genus of the first ant! So I'm not even gonna guess cuz I don't want to get it wrong!
Second one is some sp. of Formica, maybe fusca?
Second ant is indeed Formica but not fusca.

There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
