So I have this idea that I could just put the nest (AC hybrid nest) in the outworld, because I feel like the tube going to the outworld seems a bit unnatural, not that it's bad, I could also save money on tubes. Do you think it would work? It probably would, but I want your thoughts. :D

I don't know why it would not work, unless it is Camponotus as this ant likes to travel long distances to get food.
Let me know how it turns out I will be interested! :D
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

It would be perfectly fine as long as you had a decent foraging area after the nest was put in. The water may leak though, which would encourage the ants to dig. You would have to do it with gravel so the nest wouldn’t leak.(Like feeders leak if in contact with dirt)

Those are good points, I might try it with a future ant colony because I do have camponotus. Thanks!

Also to peek into the nest, you would have to wait till all the ants get off from the cover to lift it
And this can take alot of time
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony
