I need help!
So basically I've had a colony of Tetramorium caespitum (Pavement ants) for a year now. My colony isn't growing at all, and they are still in their first tube. I don't think this is normal, and there are only about 10 ants in there. There are a couple eggs in the tube, but they aren't hatching. I feed them small amounts of fruits, ground nuts, and honey per week. They are eating NOTHING I give them. They only drank the honey twice I have gave them it. Nothing else. They have good amounts of water. I don't think this is normal, could I have advice? Thank you.

Re: I need help!
Is the place where you are keeping them cold? I think the problem is that you are feeding them too much sugar and not alot of protein. I would suggest giving them no honey or fruits for one and a half week and only feed them insects. They might have repletes who are filled of honey so the colony thinks they dont need any food.
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony
