Re: My queen ant journal
Where do you live ant human. I live in Manitoba. I just don’t know any other kids who ant keep and thought it would be cool if we lived the same place to share ants.

Re: My queen ant journal
There is only one other forum member from india (tritonspaceants if i spelled it correctly) but they also live in a different place, Banglore and i have never heard of anyone else ant keeping in delhi so i cant sell my queen ants (IF I HAD ANY ) there are some people in my school who are generally interested in things like these, so if i try hard enough i can get them to do antkeeping and then i can share ants also but its going to take a long long time
But there are a few ant keepers in Philippines in this forum so good for them

Ppl in Florida are so spaced out, and to add, usually are highly inactive. Usually I give them their Solenopsis invicta queen ID, and they just never come back.Antloverhuman wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 12:56 amThere is only one other forum member from india (tritonspaceants if i spelled it correctly) but they also live in a different place, Banglore and i have never heard of anyone else ant keeping in delhi so i cant sell my queen ants (IF I HAD ANY ) there are some people in my school who are generally interested in things like these, so if i try hard enough i can get them to do antkeeping and then i can share ants also but its going to take a long long time

Well it turns out I mapped the non-natives and natives and it turns out…
There is one freaking colony of Camponotus Floridanus here and the rest is Solenopsis invicta and pheidole megacephala for miles of undisturbed land besides the Pyramid ants that get killed be tiger beetles. Congrats environment. You are now 99% invaded.

Gave em honey. No deaths lately apart from that broken gaster girl. Constantly see a big egg clutch in one of the ants mouth and there are always cocoons present. Around 55 workers and i am hoping the will peak to 100 workers before hibernation

Re: My queen ant journal
How many pupae? That sounds possible, but I do not pay attention to my slow growing Camponotus as my fast growing Camponotus, so I would not know.Antloverhuman wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:56 am21 june 2022
