Hey ooper01 how much did it cost to make the formicarium and how is your hydration system working ?
Re: ooper's Pogonomyrmex occidentalis colony (#1)
The materials to build the formicarium were around $100. The hydration system is working great. It keeps the lower third of the nesting space moist, just like it would be in their natural environment. I don't provide water anywhere else in the setup, just in the bottom of the formicarium.

Locked.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
