Oecophylla Smaragdina Help!

Hello,
My Green Tree/Weaver Ant (Oecophylla Smaragdina) queen has just produced her first nanitic worker. However, the person I got her from actually gave me 2 queens. So what I'd like to know is can you have multiple queens per colony as I have read various responses to this question. If so would I able to place the other test tube with the queen in the same outworld with no issues? I'm planning on getting a proper designed set-up soon but want to sort this out first. If you can help me out that'd be great.

Cheers, ShadowNova

  • Iridomeryx Purperus
  • Other Sp. Etc

I think they are multi queen but i'm not sure if they would accept her. If i were you i would wait for the one queen to get a few more workers just in case the queen tries to kill the worker.
2 x iridomyrmex sp Queen:15+ workers
2 x iridomyrmex pallidus: 40+ workers
1 x pheidole megacephala:2 queen 300 workers.
1 x opisthopsis Queen: 14 workers

All good, I'll just wait then. The 2nd queen will probably get her first nanitic worker in the next day or two. Is it likely the workers would get along?
