Quick question
Hi, I'm new to ant keeping and my queen arrives Tuesday with my full setup. Now IV finally gone ahead and done it after pondering on the idea for so long a thought has suddenly dawned on me. What do you do when your colony becomes to much to handle or to large for what you were looking for? Is there anyway of keeping colonys a manageable size? Thanks jack

Re: Quick question
What species are you talking about? Some species make big nests, some make small ones. Some have a lot of ants, some don't. And no there is not a way to keep a colony at one size. They will continue to grow throughout their lives, and only stop when the queen dies. What nest do you have? You may have to upgrade in the future.
Re: Quick question
