Dead worker

I started a Lasius Americanus queen back in early August. From the first generation only one ant hatched. She was tending the queen, larvae, etc. I gave them a droplet of honey, water and a fruit fly. Then suddenly my worker died. How long do minims (the first generation) live...and...if another pupa doesn't hatch soon I'm going to loose the queen too aren't I? 🐱

Well nevermind. It came back to life. I swear I was touching it with a toothpick last night and it's body was lifeless. 9 hours later I looked again and it was running around fine again. Can anyone explain that?
