My youngest son found a queen yesterday(10/28) and I wasn't sure of the genus . He found it by my wooden basement door walking around.

Three pics I have. If any specifics pics are needed(I know the size isn't included I don't have a picture of it next to a ruler at the moment)to help identify it let me know. Thanks in advance!

Beautiful  !! .You found it in your basement, right? That I would consider would be a clue/threat because well, Its in your basement.
but I am getting off topic... (again)
It look approximately 1 cm so I could be either a lasius or campanotis....
nope: what about all other ants in Pennsylvania, Its in your house so It could be a house type of ant

o It must be Tapinoma sessile
if you search up Tapinoma sessile queen with wings, then you could see what I mean.
Have fun with her but remember there is no big deal if its actually a odours house that only means that your son should be careful because if they get squished, then they will let out a smell of I believe  blue cheese I suppose
Tell him not to look at it every day because that was my fault when I was new.
and give it some honey as well after some days :D
