If anyone can tell me the species of the queen, I will be forever grateful. I live in Southeastern KY and I want to bring this colony to my mom's classroom to teach the students about bugs, their lifecycle, and the responsibility of keeping pets. I have safe a place to put them where the students can see but not reach, a good idea of their diet and preferences, and basically everything except a proper identification. Any help is deeply appreciated!
