New antkeeper in Virginia currently doesn’t have a colony plan to start next Spring :lol:

They are actually all over the US and in Ontario. And many parts of south america. If your curious go to antmaps.org this could help you find native species in you area.

Actually they don't. If you put your finger in the middle of their trail then they will just go around it and if they don't they'll just climb your finger and then get down. They are extremely docile. That's why I'll enjoy taking care of them.

So yesterday I went out with my dad and we got some bugs to give to my new forelius colony. I'm really excited. Hopefully they like it!!

two things one cool maybe I will join if I catch one during nuptial flight and second cool I hope they liked it!

Well, no one has to have a Forelius species to be in this clan. All they need to do is have a good attitude and have fun! And for the second part. They actually haven't eaten it yet. I'm starting to get worried. Its been close to ten days and they haven't started foraging. Hopefully next week they start moving around. But yeah anyone is welcome to the forelius clan even though you don't have this species.

If their gasters are big it means they got a lot of food still I think I can't remember for sure though

Yeah. If their gasters are big then they ate some food. Today I checked on them and they are starting to get closer to the portal entrance. So I took the old food out and put a drop of agave nectar and I turn around and one managed to start drinking!!! :D :D
