Hello, I recently acquired my first queens, 3 pyramid and 1 Trap jaw, the trap jaw is in a container with the test tube buried in sand with just a little of the top exposed so I can peek in, and covered with black paper to keep it dark, she seems to be doing well, I have placed cut up super worms in and she has been eating, no eggs yet, "Patience grasshopper" these are large ants, I expect them to take quite a while to go from egg to worker,
1 of my pyramid test tubes has the cotton turning pink, she has about 16 nanatics, many eggs ,larva and pupae I have attached the test tube to a test tube portal with a clean test tube, but they seem content with the pink cotton test tube, I have attached the small AC fornicarium as well, but they are not interested in it yet.
my question is ..Is this ok?

Re: test tube cotton turning pink
It is probably sucking up the colour from their droppings?
