Finally I'm home! so before I update the journal Here's some pictures from before vacation that i was not able to upload!

as for the Update!

There really isn't much they're not accepting protein right now so maybe there slowing down for hibernation. are there any ant keepers near Michigan or the Midwest that has also noted this for there camponotus?

no workers have died in a while so that's good.
