Ran out of water test tube in outworld

:ugeek: Ran out of water in test tube.

Hi please can you help.

I am based in the UK and have a Lasius Niger ant colony (about 25 workers) in a test tube and placed the test tube into an outworld.

The test tube has ran out of water so I have placed another test tube inside with water.

Please can you advise if it’s ok to do this or do I have to take them out of the outworld and try get them to transfer to a new test tube. Then place the test tube back in?

Sorry not sure what you mean.

I already have put an extra test tube in the outworld but the queen will not leave the current test tube (the one that’s ran out if water)

You should uncover their current test tube and cover the new one, and shine a light on their test tube. This causes them to feel exposed, and will search for a new home. It may take a while for them to move in, as they can be very stubborn sometimes.
