I found this ant on June 10 2019 but I don't know if it is a queen I am in Colorado
I don't have a way to measure it but If I can in a time soon I will try. I put a quarter for reference meanwhile I hope that hepls I have seen a lot of male ants recently which are a lot smaller about 1 mm but I estimate it is about 3/4 of a inch long about 19mm but this is a very rough estimate

Unfortunately this isn't a queen, It looks to me like it is a Camponotus sp. major. Make sure you release her back exactly where you found her so that he can pick up her pheromone trail and go back with her family. Keep looking and good luck on finding your first queen soon! :D Make sure to watch the video on AntsCanada's youtube channel on how to identify queen ants.
