Any advice for Carpenter ants?

Hi.

I'm just wondering,do I need to give them any special needs, and how many times do I need to feed them a week?
BTW, I put them in a jar with some soil.

Colony is fairly small i reccomend putting them in a test tube or a very small container with a test tube of water the cotton has mold which could have mites. but if you have a small container mix rubbing alcahol and baby powder rub it around the sides add a small ammount of dirt not to big and boom feed them apples, honey and sugar water, crickets, roaches etc make sure when feeding bugs to freeze them dont want mites

once a week dont feed them to much like a drop of honey a cricket leg or small slice of an apple clean up there garbage or food they dont eat every week
