Ant genus identification
Hey all I'm relatively new to ants and have always been fascinated by them. This will be my first year at keeping any. So I've been seeing what species I have in my area. There is one however that I believe to be Formica exsectoides but all the research I do says this ant lives in Eastern Canada and I'm in western Canada. To get a good picture I had to sacrifice one of the little guys and I'm sorry for that. But it was for science.
