I stumbled across AntsCanada while looking for formicarium ideas for my Fiance. She loves ants. I started watching the Youtube videos and now I am very interested in starting a colony.
Does any one have advice for finding Queens in the Atlanta area?
Thanks!

Welcome!!! First familiarize your self with what a queen ant looks like. Always carry a snap cap container with you wherever you go since you never know when you might stumble upon a queen. Ants4fun posted this great link to a web site that has other ways to catch queens (or have them come to you). One place to look is pools you can find hundreds of queens trapped in pools if you look right after nuptial flights. This AntsCanada video has the nuptial flight schedules for the US.
