Nest too big?

My messor aciculatus colony live in an AC hybrid nest 2.0 and there's only 17 ants total. I was wondering if the nest is too big as they have filled many chambers full of seeds, I'm afraid they will eventually mold and potentially kill of my colony as I doubt they can eat them as fast as they're bringing them in.

how big is the colony ant # wise? If the colony is two small I would stop feeding them seeds for now and lower the humility a bit if you can

It's quite small. I have a test tube full of seeds attached to the nest which Ill remove. But how does lower humidity help? Is it just for reduced mold chance or will it help the colony's growth in any way?

Just so you know aciculatus do extremely poorly without hibernation. They will also basically take almost all the seeds you offer them to store in their nest, especially before winter.
Keeping:
Tetramorium immigrans * Lasius Neoniger * Lasius Claviger * Messor Aciculatus * Myrmica Rubra * Camponotus Novaeboracensis * Camponotus Turkastanus * Pheidole Pallidula

I just took them out of hibernation 2 days ago maybe it was too early.
