I think that you can to the wrong forum, why do you think that we would want to kill the ants? :o
First of all, maybe your room got infested because you are eating in your room.

In a house, Pouring liquid everywhere isn't going to help. Diatematious earth is a safe way to be rid of them. It's perfectly harmless to humans and pets, but will exterminate the colony.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Lol this is an ant keeping forum. Not an ant extermination forum. The best way to find the nest is to leave food in the middle of your room and watch where they are taking it to. But it’s obviously going to be in a crack in your floor/wall/baseboard ect and you won’t be able to actually see the colony without doing some demolition work on your house. If I were you I’d just put out some ant traps.

Some Raid could work. safer ways can include moping the floor with vinegar and then keeping food items away from the ants and they should move out in a couple days.

It's not an infestation, it's a free range colony lol :D

I agree with idahoantgirl, diatomaceous earth is a cheap and safe way to get rid of arthropodic pests. You should probably go with that.

I would recommend Raid gels. It is true that vinegar is a well-known remedy, but there are more extreme methods involving ammonia, kerosene, and birch tar :?
