SO... My whole house stays too warm for 'proper' hibernation temps of 40-50 degrees F. My garage will occasionally drop below 30 F when its cold out. There definitely isn't room in the fridge and its only a couple degrees above freezing anyway.
What do I do because from what I know they definitely still need to hibernate. Right?

Alright, thanks for the info, I'll put them in the basement where its around 60-ish F.Don't worry your house will be fine, the temperature will work, just find a nice cool place to keep them where they won't be disturbed.

Thanks for the response cal... but I figured it out (kinda) about 5 minutes after my initial post.. then about another hour and 5 and I finally worked out how to upload a pic of the ant I'm trying to identify lol
