New to ants - UK

Hey ^^;

I binged watched the ant story line playlist on youtube in three days xD so with my interest peaked, i figured i'd join, learn what I can before I get myself a colony or 5 going xD

I'm currently a human slave to 3 bearded dragons, 4 leopard geckos and 2 snakes and been debating on getting some fish going. I also look after several different species of succulents and a growing spider plant.

I was wondering if i could do an arid outworld for the ants when i get a colony going full of succulents...

Glad to hear another potential UK antkeeper joining the ranks!

I'm also looking to get into it myself. Looks amazingly interesting how they go about their business.

They do make great pets! Not all pets clean up after themselves, allow you to take a break every year to renew your interest, are free to get, and so long as they're native can be released once you don't want them anymore. So ye good pets!

Sure! You'd probably want ants that like arid climates though, especially if you're going to use sand.
