Identifying ant colony
Hi,
I am doing a uni assignment on ants and need to know what type of ants these are. They were found in Windsor NSW australia and are medium size.
Thankyou in advance!

Re: Identifying ant colony
The pictures arent very clear but if they have spines, they are a species of polyrachis. If its okay what is your uni assignment about, I'm doing a bachelor of science but there arent any courses that would focus on insects and I'm interested to know what they would be like?
Re: Identifying ant colony
I had to build an insect display that met the needs of a chosen insect. So i built an ant farm I am doing agriculture science and am taking an entomology subject. We also have to identify lots of insects and do a pinned display. Its super fun
