Uh im 12 and im new to ants but i recently caught a trapjaw queen alate with wings but the season is over right?
The problem is that she has been opening her wings and scratching it and i suspect that she is trying to shed her wings.
Currently i have 4 wild workers which sort of 'obey' her and i see that the queen and one other worker have been guarding a little house but i have not seen any eggs.
May i ask if the queen is trying to shed wings and may have laid eggs before shedding wings?
New Trap Jaw queen caught two days ago in Singapore.

Only if they're from the same colony.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
