Caught what I believe is a Stigmatoma pallipes queen tonight. Anyone have any care info for them? ie: are they parasitic and are they semi-claustral?
Anyone with experience, please share.
Thanks,

Re: Stigmatoma pallipes care help
Sorry for the late reply, I hope she isn't dead! Anyway I've been trying to keep these for about 5 years now. First rule, they reproduce by budding, wherever you found the queen try to get the workers around her too. Second rule, they require high humidity and a dirt setup (with springtails). Third rule, they specialize in preying on Geophilomorpha centipedes. If you are able to find Stigmatomma, chances are you can also find these centipedes. They do need a lot of space to forage and act like they should. They are quite interesting ants.
