Crematogaster problem

My two Crematogaster queen’s (together) eggs have not hatched . I keep them in the dark for one month without any workers . What is happening?

they might be to stressed out on you checking on them. crematogaster queens get stressed out very easy and it takes about 3 months (i think) from egg to worker.

Ikr! When I heard this I was so surprised. I think they often prefer to hibernate before laying their first batch of eggs though. Like if you were to catch them from August - October they'll definitely wait until spring to lay.

My crematogasters were about 57 days from egg to worker.
