Hello I am looking into finding or if I can’t find acquiring an ant queen, I live in Croatia and I am looking for a native species. What I want is an ant specie that does not die out after its queen dies instead it’s replaced or new queens are breed so it’s a colony with multiple queens being born. If someone wants to take a look at native Croatian species and tell me which ones fit the description.

Re: Colony survival
Pheidole queens are not replaceable; once a queen dies in her nest and, there are no more remaining queens, the colony will die out. A better option is Myrmica. Queens can be added every few years and if I'm correct apparently virgin queens can mate in the nest but don't back me up on that though.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.
