I found this ant near my bed. is it a queen or not?..
if it's a queen what species? Thanks!! :)

And here's my new catch and i found it in my garage. is this a queen or not? and what species if it's a queen :) Thanks again! please answer hahaha! :). i'm so new on this things :)

The first one with wings is definitely a queen. Not sure of the species. The second one is not a queen. You can tell by the size of the thorax usually.

You may need to get the help of someone from your area of the world to help identify the species. Good luck!

The queen is probably Solenopsis and the worker Odontoponera sp.

Make sure you put her in a testtube setup and then put her in a dark place (closet or such) and leave her alone for about a month. Try not to peek.

That little bottle you show her in will not work because it's capped and she won't get any air.

I already put her in a test tube set up, woah! Not peeking for a month T.T. Ill try HAHAHA! Thanks!! :). The species of this queen is selenopsis?
