Cool, well done. Sadly I live in the UK, one of the few places where the Camponotus genome are rare/nonexistent  (because it's hard for a species of insect to emigrate across the sea!) I probably won't be able to ever care for a Camponotus colony. So you make the most of it for me! :D

First 2 nanitics! :D They have 4 pupae, and a pile of eggs and larvae. I gave them some honey, a few fruit flies, and a spider.

I forgot to mention that the new queen has 9 eggs!
She now has 14 eggs!
There are around 5-6 larvae.
She has pupae now.

My oldest queen still has 2 workers, but now there are 7 pupae and one looks very close to eclosing.

They have 3 workers, 6 pupae, a large larva, a few small larvae, and a large clump of around 15-20 eggs.

Check out my camponotus journal too.
You mean the topic "Campontous journal"?

They have 7 workers, 4 pupae, and a pretty good sized pile of other brood. It seems like when 1 worker hatches, a larva pupates, so there is a constant 4 pupae.
