Re: L.Niger
Lasius Niger is fully claustral, so don't need any assistance. Best to leave the queen to raise her brood in peace.
Ant-keeper going into his 4th year of loving ants!
Re: L.Niger
I gave food to my queens, one of them drinked from the honey, and I think also ate from the fly that I gave her. But after that she started to lay eggs, and she didn't touched the food. I think she filled both stomach, I hope this will help her a lot.
I'm a hungarian unexperienced ant keeper with one Formica rufibarbis and two Lasius Niger queens.
Re: L.Niger
Thank you. I also fed my queen and after she ate a bit and layed eggs, she did not touch her food.
