New queen need help with ID
I found a new queen today just not sure what kind

Leafcutter ant species. How many pairs promesonotal spines are on the promesonotum (front thorax). If there are three pairs of these spines then it’s Acromyrmex. But if there’s only two pairs it’s Atta. Post closer clearer pics.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

Looks like an Atta sp. then. Batspiderfish, correct me if I’m wrong.

looks like you were spot on i think shes Trachymyrmex septentrionalis

This queen has spines on its back. Trachymyrmex, if I’m correct do not have spines.

Hmm antwiki shows them to have spines (and that they are from the atta. Family) and they are also the only leaf cutters I've been able to find that live in Arkansas I'll have to do some more research and see what I can find and how to take care of her this looks like it could be a amazing species to keep.
