Just caught this queen in my backyard in Vancouver BC. I googled it and I think it might be Tapinoma Sessile. I'm new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zuewwGLv6ZC3OS4h4fsMzF-sllrWov96?usp=sharing

You should post the photos to a photo website like imgur or photobucket and share them here.

Lasius sp. I'd only hesitate to say Lasus americanus at this time of year because for once I am getting the vibe of Lasius niger. However, we would need to be able to see the hairs on the antennae and the teeth on the mandibles to identify Lasius.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
