Ants Don't Want to Move
I have a 50 and tetramorium colony and they are currently in a test tube in an outworld connected to an Omninest. I recently looked in their test tube and found that it was very dirty and perhaps on the edge of mood growing. So I uncovered the testtube, however, that ants refuse to move and are just sitting in the lightened tube. I would think that 50 ants would be large enough for them to move. Any suggestions?

How long should I wait until I start to worry? I don't know how long I can wait. Their test tube looks really bad

Looks bad to you, but if it were harmful in any way to the ants, they would move to the cleaner space you've provided.

And if they're going to the bathroom in their tube?Batspiderfish wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 4:13 pmLooks bad to you, but if it were harmful in any way to the ants, they would move to the cleaner space you've provided.

They do that already. As long as they have access to a cleaner home, they will move when the old one becomes undesirable.SamuelMamuel wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 7:43 pmAnd if they're going to the bathroom in their tube?Batspiderfish wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 4:13 pmLooks bad to you, but if it were harmful in any way to the ants, they would move to the cleaner space you've provided.

And should I leave their tube uncovered? I feel like it may be adding unnecessary stress.Batspiderfish wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:06 pmThey do that already. Well, I decided to fill the first 2 spots of my vertical omninest to try and encourage the ants to move in.
