Honestly kinda bummed, when we found them on the flight deck in various little books and crannies, I was excited. Even though they aren't from around my area, when I had a rough guess of what they might be, I was looking forward to watching them grow.
Still I've been spotting flying queens in the evening and keeping my eyes peeled for ones on the concrete. Maybe I'll find something native to my area.

If any of you want to see an example of that, just watch AntsCanada's Fire Nation.

I am not officially down to one living queen...I haven't had more then the occasional sighting of local queens in flight. None on the concrete out here yet but a few dead males here and there.

May have been for the best considering they were non native stowaways. However this morning I found a new queen crawling across the flightline. So there is hope.averagebilly wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 12:47 pm
