Hello,

The moment as come to start the sketching of my first nest. Please do not use those sketch without asking.

So iv been thinking about an ''table like'' nest. with 2 zone where the ants dans digs on soil/sand to build a nice nest ant an open hunting space at the top.

Im not sure of the thickness of the digging zone. If thought of 1/8 of an inch.

What do you think?

The fist image of the sketching will arrive soon.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the first sketch

Each of the 2 tunnel zone are 24'' X 24'' X 1/8'' and the hunting space at the top is 24'' X 24'' and the wall surrounding it are 6'' tall

I left 1/8'' for the ants to dig the tunnel and let me see them at the same time.

Let me know what you think.

Looking at the IMG link you used I can tell that it's not correct, it's way too long. This is why it shows a broken picture link and if you click on it the image is shown also as a "Broken" incorrect image link.

AntsCanada made this a while back
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

I thing adding either à base or X braces for lateral support. Should i fill it with sand, dirt or a mixture of both?

Do you have a good place to get acrylique cheap? here in Québec its like 90$ for a single sheet xD or any other material cheaper?
