What Species? Maybe Pheidole?

I found these ants outside yesterday. I live in Covington, Louisiana (south LA) and I minors with small heads and majors with big heads. They're about a couple mm long. They were carrying seeds back to their nest, too. This all leads me to believe they are Pheidole sp. Can you pinpoint the species? If not, the genus is fine.

Thx!
