Im so excited for these guys to arrive i started the journal today, sorry if im not supposed too
Anyway, ill be getting a colony of a friend in around 2 and a half weeks which could have 100 or up to 5000 workers in it, it depends on which one he gives me.
Ill find out nearer the time
Ive got a setup ready and waiting, a fresh supply of mealworms and crickets, now i just wait.

Lots of luck with them! I think they are one of the hardest ants to keep.

A 2ft tank to start with as it will be a smaller colony that expected, there will be a natural ytong nest and a layer of soil for humidity purposesVegetable wrote:Lots of luck with them! I think they are one of the hardest ants to keep.

Okay, a very small colony arrived on friday consisting of 1 queen 8 workers and a few eggs.
