I think i have 2 solenopsis molesta queens and I was thinking about how they can steal from other colonies. I came up with this cool project idea but I need to know what y'all think . The idea is when my 2 founding colonies get workers I go and buy an aquarium and fill it with plants and dirt . Then let 1 of the solenopsis molesta colony out on 1 side of the aquarium and the other colony on the other side and see if the solenopsis molesta colony will steel from the other . The other colony will be a different species . What do you guys think about my idea ?

The results could be disastrous. If you ask me, I'll never attempt such a thing that could potentially destroy my both colonies.

Solenopsis Molesta is polygenous. You could just keep them together

I know it is could be extremely disastrous but if it works it would be cool . I think it could work because In the wild I see them right by the pogonomyrmex barbatus mounds . Also i will keep the 2 different colonies separate at first that way they have time to build their home and don't fight soon as I put them in the aquarium . Also is this queen even solenopsis molesta https://www.flickr.com/gp/153277605@N06/08ekaz https://www.flickr.com/gp/153277605@N06/4o5wvY ???
