Lasius Niger Merging colonies
I have found out that on you tube some people managed to merge colonies i have ten lasius niger colonies should i try merging them ?
Keeping : 2 Formica colonies: 5-10 workers
Tetramorium : 1 colony 3-5 workers
Lasius Niger : colony 30+ workers
Lasius Emarginatus:colony 10 workers
Solenopsis Fugax: 5 colonies 5+workers

If people are merging it with positive results then I'd say go for it. But try merging 2 colonies and see the results before merging all.

Bad news attemp nubmer one did not suceed they jsut tried to steal each others eggs i will try again tomorrow with other two colonies i hope that i will suceed that time

If you like your colonies happy and healthy, don't do stuff like this. Lasius niger are monogynous.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

Not sure if attaching test tubes directly to one another is a good idea at all. Maybe try adding some out world in between those test tubes so they don't just end up exiting their nest and entering the rivals nest if that makes any sense.

OK pal and i won t do it today i am going queens hunting for formica queens and i will wait for them to grow a little
