Need help with ID of queen ants

Can someone please help me get an ID on what species this is? The queens length is 16mm, she was caught in McCall Idaho on Memorial Day weekend, thanks for the help!

Is it like, a faux pas around here to request for genus and species? I can figure out the genus of most ants I find now, species not so much, and every time I post a request for speciation, there isn't a single reply that comes afterwords.

The way taxonomy works out, you identify from larger, general classifications down to the more specific, genus and species-level. If somebody gives you Camponotus sp., it means that there are no details to work on which would confirm its identity down to the species. It's better to have a vague idea of what an ant is than an incorrect one. There are three large, dark Camponotus spp. which this might be.

If the OP wants to provide more, better-lit photographs, then we might have a better idea.
