I put alot of meaning in those seals, see if you can crack the codeJaniceSCM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2017 6:06 pmIt might be copyrighted, so you could maybe use a different flame icon. The First FN flag is very aesthetically pleasing. Also simple. I like that.TriMonarchicEmpire wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2017 5:39 pmMy first fire nation flag. The symbol means fire nation, the colours mean fire,
An alternate version
My dark one, this is for a united one, as i personally dont think there is a civil war.
And my favourite I want to see if anyone can fiquire out ALL the symbolism.
That last guys flags were amazing though........way more professinal...I hope i atleast make the polls with one.
The alternative FN flag is also nice, I like the pyramid shapes. The smoke could be either bigger or removed, because you can't see it from far away, which is the purpose of a flag.
The rest use seals, and I'm not a fan of seals. One of the flag design rules also states that seals are not recommended. But they have symbolism and I think that's a plus.

Well to answer your question:JaniceSCM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2017 6:16 pmI like it. Matching flags, neat!
Also the appearance looks professional, what kind of software do you use?
The only problem I have is, say, the Dark Knights are on a battlefield and they are supposed to recognise each other's flags it becomes difficult because from a distance they look quite similar. But ants communicate through smell primarily, so maybe it isn't such a big problem.
I use CorelDraw 10 (well I do have better versions but not on this Laptop...)
I know what you mean but I didn't know which other colour I could use... It is quite hard to find matching colors for the design without it being devoured by the color.
Edit:
I could use a differend shade of blue or even purple... hang on.

The Dark Knights - South-2:
This might be a better option. Still the same color sceme but an optical difference.

I heard a lot of positive reactions for Corel. Do you like using it?Nyaonyrd wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2017 6:20 pmWell to answer your question:JaniceSCM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2017 6:16 pmI like it. Matching flags, neat!

Re: AntsCanada ANT FLAG CONTEST (2 yr Anniversary of ACAF)
EDIT:
The Golden Empire: The 8 gemstones on the crown symbolise the 8 Queens of the colony.
The Dark Knights - North: The influences of the helmet of a Knight and a black rose symbolising the rose war between the nations.
The Dark Knights - South: Same symbol for the knight like ant but a burning heart to oppose their sisters in this war.
Also I now put the second variation in here so it is easyer to see the difference.
Maybe I will make a Fire Nation flag too and I even thought about making one for the sadly deceased Trap Jaws in memory of them.
