I had a Queen Messor Barbarus but she unfortunatly died when i went away to a festival for the weekend
but on the plus side i caught acouple of Lasius Flavus queens at the festival, one of which landed on my arm with a male giving her a portion haha both have removed their wings so am assuming both have been fertilised and seeing as Flavus can have multiple queens in a colony i have popped them both in the same testtube setup, they seem to be getting on well so now i just have to wait untill they start laying eggs
