Well I broke my own recommendations, I just find it too hard to leave her alone for days at a time - I'd never leave any of my other pets alone so it is a real challenge for my patience! Yesterday I gave her a tiny piece of turkey and some cotton soaked with honey, but she hasn't shown interest in either She wasn't walking and her legs still look weak and twitchy :( After a day I took the meat out but left the honey, she is moving even less today. ImageShe only twitched when the light flicked on, moving her antenna but unable to actually move across the ground. I'm afraid things aren't looking good for Penelantpe...

Will be an amazing story when she has a massive colony. I hope she makes it.

Unfortunately, poor Penelantpe didn't pull through in the long run :( She wasn't moving, I was hoping she would bounce back, but today there was fungus on her body. Rest in Peace little lady, your life was much too short.

If a mod comes across this, you can move this post to the ant graveyard.

Amazing story!
Too bad in the end the spider won.
RIP Penelantpe.
