my ants won't move

so i have this tetromoriom queen and three workers and their test tube ran out of water so i took another test tube and attached it to their test tube and blocked the test tube that i want them to move into and put a light on the test tube i want them to move from and waited a day and nothing happened what should i do

Just be patient. It may take several days before they decide to move. This happens all the time. To accelerate moving, I will sometimes put the light closer so they can feel the heat, but you have to be SUPER careful so that you don't bake them. You would think that they would instinctively move away from the heat, but I have killed ants before doing this, so again be careful if you choose to do this.
