Has anyone else seen this behavior between a major/supermajor and her queen? This took place shortly after I connected a new tube with fresh water, clean cotton and honey to their test tube. The queen was nearly unresponsive and looked almost dead, curled around her brood before I attached the clean tube. Is she communicating to her queen about new territory with food and water? Since this video, the queen and her worker divided the brood between the two tubes, and I added a third because cotton was again mouldy, and I wanted to provide more honey (2 weeks later). Video of latter set up also on YouTube, “Camp Camponotus Update 2.”

Looks like it was pulling cotton to me, rather than moon walking.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

If she was curled up she might have been laying an egg.
